Co-designed with award-winning custom knifemaker Bill Ruple, the Axe Handle® takes its name from its distinctive profile inspired by the shape of an axe handle. The pattern stamp BR’135 pays tribute to this collaboration: “BR” recognizes Bill Ruple’s influence, “1” marks Case’s first in-line partnership with him, and “35” celebrates his 35 years of custom knife craftsmanship. Appropriately, 135 also commemorates the number of years Case had been in business when development of this knife began.
